Beautiful People

Every where I look I see beautiful people. Sir Ken Robinson once said that there are a lot of creative, intelligent people who think they are not because what they are passionate about is not valued (or perhaps even stigmatized) by the institutions they are a part of (e.g., school, corporation, etc.) I feel the same is true about beautiful people. It saddens me that there are so many people who do not think they are beautiful just because what makes them beautiful is not valued by others…or at the very least their value is not communicated to them often enough. If you ever doubt this, just listen carefully to how people talk about themselves and others. My hope is that we can help more people see the beauty in themselves and others simply by reminding them regularly what it is that makes them beautiful.
